So much has been going on for us that we are barely finding time to keep you up-to-date. Here is a recap of the teams activities, news and results for the last 2 months:
rFactor 2: GPVWC International Touring cup has come halfway with Oliver and Georgi not so happy with the results. We have had some unfortunate DNFs and technical issues. However, racing at the highest tear of touring cars is very valuable experience and we look forward to make a good half of season to reach the top 5 of the standings.
Last week the team has started the Swedish Virtual Touring Car Championship (SVTCC) with two teams. Georgi and Oliver drive for BSR GOTeam Racing and Danny and Alex for Sparco Gaming GOTeam Jr. Car of choice is the Astra. Big thanks to Oliver for fixing the awesome liveries.

First round came with incredible results At Slovakiaring. Georgi with great performance finished the first 2 races in 2nd and won the third race of the evening! Oliver did top 10 finishes and 3rd in last race. Danny in his debut scored top 10 in last 2 races. With these results GOTeam is leading both, drivers and team standings! Next race the 7th of November!
Besides Georgi and Oliver have dominated the SRGP Touring car cup in the same car scoring 4/4 victories in div A and 3/4 in div B respectively, thus leading the tables.
Finally, GOTeam has signed up for M1 Endurance league where we will do 6 to 12 h endurance races in the GTE class with car of choice the beloved Porsche RSR. First race we join is Interlagos 6h on the 8th of December.
iRacing. The Swedish iRacing league is also halfway where we have had some ups and downs. Our GOTeam Vit team with Philip Johansson och Tomas is running strong in 3rd place in the team standings. In GOTeam Röd the debutant Alejandro has scored some very strong top 15 finishes, and his first top 10 in the last round at belle island among a field of nearly 50 cars.
Tomas continues his Oval career with strong top 10 finishes where he’s at the top of the Scandinavian drivers in NiS. Besides he brought home victories in Xfinity and Camping World series. Follow all his results at his Instagram account
The team is also taking part of the Absolute beginners leagues. In the Formula Neagle Danny is showing great improvements and it’s getting closer to top 10 finishes! In the Haynes Cup, Danny and Ricker are onboard of the Radical and Alejandro the Mazda, they are fighting top 5!
Danny will also take part in the season finale of the SocksOutRacing SuperTruck V8 series held on the 3rd of November at the unforgiving Bathurst!
Raceroom Racing Experience: AMG DTM competition is over and Georgi came impressive 42nd in world in the global standings among almost 5000 competitors.
Real world racing:
The team had its first meetup where 7 of us went to Mantorp to follow the last round of Swedish Touring Car Championship and its supporting series. There we also had an exquisite visit to Otto Racing – the winner of this years Swedish GT4 class in their GInetta G55 GT4 car – and heard interesting insights about real racing.
Moreover, winning the BestDrive Tagene challenge in the spring meant two of us got a ride in the Ginetta at Mantorp. Check the video!
